I love Spring’s color palate. I often come out of my closet on Sunday mornings in the middle of January asking Ben if my outfit is season appropriate. I just want to wear coral all year long! And taupe, and cream, and definitely robin’s egg blue. I want to wear them all-and I usually do, faux pas or not. I like em’ so I wear em’. Something about wearing those colors when the sun is beating down and warming my face makes it all the more appealing though. Don’t you agree?
I’m loving long skirts, thick material that can withstand chasing a toddler, flowing blouses, any shade of blue (especially navy) and coral this Easter season. I wore one of my favorite skirts to church this past weekend, and thought that it would be the perfect inspiration for a few outfits that I will put together below for you all to reference.

Let’s talk about my fav skirt. It’s designed and made by a mother of 4 in Utah. She is brilliant, and her designs are super tasteful and DURABLE. You hear me? Like you can wear your most comfortable underwear and no one will notice anything. You can bend to the ground to clean up your toddler’s dropped raisins and no one will catch a glimpse of your comfortable underwear either because they are the perfect length (okay..my husband put mine in the dryer by accident so it’s a tiny bit shorter than it once was). They are super thick-think upholstery fabric and oh, so pretty. She is currently “kickstarting” her company, so if you donate a certain amount of money, you get one of her items as a thank you! The adorable navy pleated skirt on her kick start site is SO CUTE. You all need one. You are paying for quality, and for 100% USA made products, so save your pennies and treat yourself soon. When I got my first skirt in from Corilynn I told Ben that I was supporting another stay at home mom, so since I would buy my clothes anyway, I might as well buy them from entrepreneur women, who use their profits to subsidize their families income so that they can be home with their kiddos instead of out in the work force. Win, win. He laughed and said, “You moms all stick together, don’t you?” “You bet buster…you bet”.
Here’s a couple of extra inspirations for ya’ll. You may even have something similar in your closet that you can piece together! Get to planning what threads you are going to wear for Easter Sunday. Planning ahead always makes my heart a little more at ease. Blessings my friends, blessings.
And because it’s officially acceptable once more to wear white:
I hope that you can feel just as cheerful as you should this weekend as you celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior!
