So, you are all well aware of my deep affection for The Honest Company. They have been a part of our family since the Fall of 2013, and I absolutely love and stand by my decision to use their brand of diapers, and a variety of home goods. I wrote about my initial love for them here , and if I’ve never mentioned this story to you, I’ll share it now. Back in November, Hattie had exclusively worn Honest diapers, which are hypoallergenic, chlorine, additive, lotion, fragrance, and latex free-for over a year, when I ran into the grocery store to pick up a pack of training pants since she was attempting to potty train (Honest carries training pants but my shipment wasn’t due for another few weeks and we needed some pull ups in a hurry!). After one day of wearing them, Hattie developed an irritation that caused bleeding, and discomfort. Our doc’s only answer was that it was most likely caused by the introduction of the standard diaper/training pant chemicals that are found in nearly every diaper on your grocery store shelf! Even with a budget, we make room for Honest, because we’ve seen how beneficial it is to our little sweetie’s bottoms! Yes, cloth diapers would be eco-friendly and even more healthy, but lesssss just continue being honest on this honest post (see what I did there? how could you not…) I’m not on that cloth train, and that’s okay. Kudos to you cloth diaper mamas. Convenience won in this household.
The bundles delivered right to my door for FREE is nice. The adorable prints on the diapers are super nice. But the health benefits are just superb. We love our Honest.
Now, you nerds out there scoffing at whether or not I’m blowing money like crazy, I too put pen to paper. I recently re-did my calculations (now, every size is different due to different amounts of diapers in different brands packaging) using Pampers diapers and Parent’s Choice wipes, and found that according to price per diapers and price per wipe if I were to purchase the same amount in the grocery store brand that I get in my monthly bundle I would pay $14.14 LESS for size 4 (Hattie) but surprisingly, I would pay $5.36 MORE for size 1 (Todd Anthony). Shocker there, I’m actually SAVING money on Todd Anthony’s diapers! Wowzer. Is the $14 extra expense for Hattie’s diaper’s worth it? YES and seeing that I’m saving on Todd Anthony’s, I’m actually only paying $8.78 more for both kiddos diapers using the fancy schmancy Honest brand.
Now, I understand that a lot of you don’t use name brand diapers, and instead use Target, Wal-Mart, or Costco’s value option, which would change these numbers considerably, but a lot of you also use Pamper’s like I once did, or Huggies and Luvs. I just wanted to give you an example of the pen to paper calculations here, so that you can visualize that it may not actually be out of reach for you to upgrade to these amazing diapers like you once thought!
Now, Did I stop at diapers? No siree. Once I started to open my eyes to the chemicals in our everyday products, I began to make some changes in my house, and this is where I really fell in love with The Honest Company. I started with things that were reaching us internally and topically: toothpaste, mouthwash, washing detergent, dishwashing detergent, hand soap, hand sanitizer, yadayadayda. I’ve tried nearly all of it, and since I’ve recently joined into affiliation with them, I’ll be able to offer you guys giveaways and discount codes so that you can start loving Honest too!
Speaking of discounts…Oh, yes mam! You can do a happy dance, because if you visit The Honest Company right now and enter the code MARBUNDLES35OFF at checkout, you will get 35% off your first bundle order! GUYS THIRTY FIVE IS A FLIPPING STEAL!! You get an entire bundle of diapers and wipes, which literally lasts me a month and a half in our house, for 35% off!! Like Whoa, this even beats the majority of your value diapers…If you go to Honest’s diaper info page, you can see how many diapers come in each size’s bundle. Honest just released their spring prints last week too, so you get to take advantage of the totally new prints that I’m so sad I missed out on in Hattie’s latest shipment! Bumble bees and daisies, I’m so jealous that you all get to snag some up! I’m so stoked to offer this deal to ya’ll, but sadly, it’s only for first time bundle users, so if you currently get a bundle of diapers, this won’t work for you. Womp Womp…
Good news though! This code works for EVERY bundle that Honest offers! This includes, their diaper bundle, which I just mentioned, their essentials bundle, feeding bundle (new!), and health and wellness bundle! The awesome thing about these bundles is that just by ordering the bundle, you are already saving money from what you would pay if you would just buy that amount of products outright. The breakdown of bundle savings in general are up to 35% on diapers, up to 35% on essentials, $20 on formula/feeding, and up to 40% on health and wellness. Tack ANOTHER 35% on top of these savings just by ordering with the special code I mentioned above! Yee-haw!
Now for a little info about the other bundles:
Remember when I talked about my household item obsession from Honest? Now you can try out all of your own cleaning products too! The essentials bundle comes with 5 products of your choice for a little over $20 bucks. Such a STEAL!
With the health and wellness bundle you can get immunity support for your kiddos, prenatal vitamins for you pregnant or nursing mommies, and more!
The newest bundle Honest offers is organic baby formula! This is such a terrific alternative for those mommies who can’t breastfeed, and with 35% off, there’s no better time to try it out than right now! You also can get DHA drops for your babes that are breastfed, and lactation boosting pills for moms!
As always with any of the bundles, if you want to add more than what is included in your bundle, you get 25% off of those additions (the 35% off doesn’t apply to the additions, just the bundle itself). You also get FREE SHIPPING with any order over $50, which includes the Diaper bundle, and Feeding bundle.
BEST PART about Honest’s bundles is that you can cancel at anytime! Plus, you can change your ship date so that you don’t start stockpiling diapers if you don’t use them all in one month! I mentioned earlier that mine last a month and a half on average so I just log into my account and push back my ship date when need be! You can take advantage of this discount today and if you aren’t satisfied, you can cancel your bundle, and never have to worry about it again! (You have to call customer service to have it canceled, but every worker I’ve ever spoken to, both on the phone and via email or chat is SUPER nice and helpful)
Sorry if this sounds like a commercial, this is just a great deal and I want to make sure you get all the details! If you are mentally thinking, “hell, no, I’m sticking with my value diapers” That’s totally okay too, I promise we’re still friends! I’ve just heard so many people comment on how they would love to try the company, but everything is a little to expensive for them, and this gives everyone a chance to try it out for a great starting price! I wish I had come upon this deal when I first started ordering!
Ya’ll hurry and score some bundles for 35% off because this deal ends MONDAY (March 15, 2015)
