Merchandise Monday is here! At midnight on Wednesday (which would make it Thursday…) It’s like Christmas in July, right? If you love jewelry you’ll forgive me for being delayed. I’ve never been much of a jewelry person. Don’t get me wrong, I love all of my simple everyday pieces, and I totally relish quality jewelry, but on a daily basis I stick with my first ever gift from Ben, a set of Mikimoto pearl studs, my wedding ring, and a simple necklace, like the diamond horseshoe my Pop purchased for my 18th birthday, or the white gold necklace that my mother in law had made for me that holds a diamond from her original wedding band, or my gold necklace engraved with Hattie’s initials. You get the picture, sentimental, simple, and of great quality. I never did the whole ‘arm party’, baubles, or bib necklaces. Then I met Mindy Mae. I happened upon an instagram feed that belonged to a nifty little online shop and their jewelry instantly attracted me. It was everyday pieces, designer inspired, at great prices, and they looked so classy and tasteful on all of the models. I just knew that I had to have some of it. I ordered a bracelet, just for kicks, and absolutely loved it. I received tons of compliments on it and from there I ordered a few more pieces. The prices are excellent, especially if you can name the designer that it mirrors. If so, you can definitely see that the savings are remarkable. Any toddler toting mom knows that it requires skill to accessorize with baby in tow, but I’ve had no problems with these pieces, and they go well with so many things! They fit right in on Sundays with my church attire, and can even look cool, collected, and casual at a basketball game on Friday nights. I love them so much, I even throw them on to run errands, and that is saying something. You can view the jewelry at Mindy Mae’s Market, and while you are there check out their other adorable accessories. I highly recommend following their Instagram feed so that you can take advantage of their amazing deals that are posted quite frequently. Lots of times they offer jewelry at a discounted price, update you once an item has been restocked, alert you to incoming styles, and even show peeks of everyday customers, styling their pieces with everyday outfits, for all of us normal moms and ladies who just want to look cute and save pennies while doing so! Here are a few pictures of my favorite pieces to give you an idea of what I’m blabbering about so earnestly! Big thanks to my husband for snapping these shots, he joked that the scenery of our farm and pond didn’t quite mesh with the subject at hand. I told him that country living is our life, and I shouldn’t be ashamed to admit that we have cows in our backyard, plus a good juxtaposition is necessary every now and again to keep life interesting don’t you think? Enjoy!
