If you are just joining us we are so excited to have you here with us. You can get up to speed by looking over these two past posts (here and here). You can view all of our posts for this study at the category Women After God’s Own Heart, found here. If your browser is not allowing you to view any attachments email me, and I will send them to you so that you don’t miss out!
Can you believe that we have made it to our final post for our Women After God’s Own Heart series? Three months well spent! You all have completed a 3 month in depth study session about following Christ as a woman is expected to. If you always felt novice in your faith life, I hope that you realize that you’ve made an excellent and exuberant step forward. I hope that your husbands/boyfriends/roomates are not overly annoyed at the bible verses decorating your home! Every Sunday my husband peels back washi tape and my printed out images so that he can access the second vanity mirror to shave. Oops! The last two chapters that you will read this week are nothing for me to summarize or talk about, they are simply the author’s reflections on the blessings that she has received in the decade that this book has been in print, and an overview of the different types of lives that have been affected by it.
I can almost bet that you’ve felt blessings over the past few months as you dig deeper into your hearts and your bibles. I can also bet that the devil has made at least one attempt to drag you back down as well, he hates women after God’s heart. I pray that you’ve been able to defeat him and send him back on his way. I won’t lie to ya’ll, it’s been hard for me to have to stick to a schedule every Monday! I am so set in my routine of doing things on Hattie and I’s time during the weekdays, and to know that I had a deadline was a little stressful! It was also good for me, to have that authoritative structure for a while again (even if I was the governing authority…).
I hope that you have become accustomed to my writing style, and were able to grasp the point of what I was trying to say every week. I know that my writing was simply supplemental to the author’s chapters, but together, they could ultimately have accomplished a wonderful thing in your heart. I pray that this was the case!
I hope that you all stick around for more “blog” style posts about my little Hattie, how we better serve our home, yummy food, and fun trips. I hope to have another study or something of the sort here in the future, and look forward to God leading me towards what topic that may be.
If you live locally, and would be interested in starting a class with us for young married or engaged couples, please email me at email@example.com to express your interest. We will be beginning the series very soon, and it will be held at my mother and father in law’s beautiful and welcoming home. They will be helping to lead the class, and it will be following the iMarriage study. We will be meeting once a week, the day is yet undetermined. This study is a favorite among newlyweds everywhere, and I look forward to learning new things with all of you! Please let me know within the next few days, because we will be calling around as well to the people that we know for sure have already expressed an interest, and we would love to add your name before we fill up the living room!
Now go forth and spread your knowledge to big and little women everywhere! Knowledge is power, and God now considers you a beacon of his light. There’s not pretending to be ignorant, he knows better. He knows that you are capable and he knows that you are knowledgeable, so share share share! Share your love for him to your husband, children, family, through social media, in your greetings, through your speech, and definitely through your singing!
I love you all, and you will all continue to make appearances in my prayers. I am immensely proud of you for wanting more, and striving for more. What lucky husbands, children, families, and friends you all have for being near such an inspirational woman. You are more than you think you are, you are amazing. Blessings.
